Udupi, Sep 5: Thousands of excited students from Udupi watched the interaction between students and Prime Minister Narendra Modi that was screened at the Government High School Olakadu and Government Girls’ PU College on Friday September 4.

The interaction was held on Friday at Manekshaw Auditorium from 10 am to 11.15 am and with students in other parts of the country through video conferencing and through AIR.

In his address, the Modi said that parents and teachers play an important role in every part of life. “A real teacher lives long in a student’s mind. Everything cannot be achieved by cash. No child should be getting disappointed due to loss of a single opportunity,” he added. Towards this, he launched a website ‘Kala Utsava’.

Students who have excelled in various fields such as India’s first junior ‘Master Chef’ winner Sarthak Bhardwaj from Bengaluru, Sania Yellappa Patil, special child from Goa, and Anmol Kabra represented their schools.
