Mumbai, Sep 5: The concluding ceremony of the skills training workshop held by Maulana Azad National Academy for Skills (MANAS) under the aegis of ministry of minority affairs, Government of India was held at Radhabai T Bhandary auditorium in Bantara Bhavan, Kurla east on Friday evening, Sep 4.
Minister for Minority Affairs Dr Najma A Hepthulla, chief guest in the programme distributed certificates to the participants at the workshop and loans to skilled participants who were venturing into business. She later spoke about training regarding business and skills.
Maharastra state chief minister Devendra Fadnavis who was present as chief host set in motion online education loan management system, a project of the government of Maharastra. Maharastra state ministerDilip Kamble and Maharastra state minority commission president Mohammed Hussain Khan were present.
Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis honoured Bantara Sangha, Mumbai president Karnire Vishwanath Shetty, Shivas hair designer private limited managing director Atturu Dr Shivarama K Bhandary and trainers for their contribution in the training workshop.
The guests put a garland on the portrait of Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad soon after arrival. MANAS executive president and Government of India ministry of minorities joint secretary D S Bisht welcomed. National minorities development and finance corporation managing director Mohammed Shabaz Ali proposed the vote of thanks.
