Mumbai, Sep 6: The concluding ceremony of the skills training workshop held by Maulana Azad National Academy for Skills (MANAS) under the aegis of Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India, was held at Radhabai T Bhandary auditorium in Bantara Bhavan in Kurla East on the evening of Friday September 4.
Minister for Minority Affairs Dr Najma A Hepthulla, chief guest of the programme, distributed certificates to participants in the workshop and loans to skilled participants who were venturing into business. She later spoke about training regarding business and skills.
Maharashtra state chief minister Devendra Fadnavis, who was present as chief host, inaugurated the Online Education Loan Management System, a project of the Government of Maharashtra. Maharashtra state ministerDilip Kamble and Maharashtra state minority commission president Mohammed Hussain Khan were present.
Fadnavis honoured Karnire Vishwanath Shetty, president, Buntara Sangha, Mumbai, Atturu Dr Shivarama K Bhandary, managing director, Shivas Hair Designer PrivateLimited, and trainers for their contribution in the training workshop.
The guests garlanded to the portrait of Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad soon after arrival. MANAS executive president and Government of India ministry of minorities joint secretary D S Bisht welcomed. National Minorities Development and Finance Corporation managing directorMohammed Shabaz Ali proposed the vote of thanks.
