Mangalore, Jun 30: A district-level inter-school rhyme competition will be held on Sunday July 1 at Hotel Rangoli, B C Road near here at 8.30 am.
Students of nursery, LKG and UKG have been invited to participate, said Dinkar S Bangera, director of Satish English Training Academy (SETA) at a press meet here on Friday June 28.
The competition has been organized by SETA and Revati Annu Bangera Family Progressive Trust.
The programme will begin with a prayer followed by felicitation of teachers and inauguration of the ‘Puppy Pep Pond’.
The chief guest will be Dr Mohan Alva, founder-president of the Alva’s group of Institutions, Moodbidri.
The guests of honour will be Padmanabha Kottari, MLA, Gajanana Hegde, programme coordinator of Zee Kannada, Fareed Yenepoya, director Yenepoya International School, Ganesh, Kannada movie actor, Bangera said.
