Six soldiers killed in Afghanistan attack

Kabul, Sep 7 (IANS): At least six soldiers were killed in a militant attack in Nimroz province of Afghanistan, local officials said.

Three soldiers were injured in the attack that took place in Khashrood district of the province after militants attacked a security outpost on Sunday, Tolo news quoted Provincial Governor Mohammad Hashem Noorzai as saying.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
