127 children kidnapped by IS in Iraq


Baghdad, Sep 9 (IANS): The Islamic State (IS) militants have kidnapped 127 children in IS-held Iraqi city of Mosul recently to train them in the ranks of the terror group, media reported on Tuesday.

IS has kidnapped 127 children aged 11-15 over the past few days, Iraqi News quoted Saeed Mamouzini, an official from Kurdistan Democratic Party, as saying, Xinhua reported.

The children were sent to special camps for training on the use of weapons and implementation of terrorist operations, the official added.
