Two people held with fake currency notes in Bihar


Patna, Sep 10 (IANS): Two people were arrested on Thursday with fake currency notes with a face value of Rs.10 lakh in Bihar's West Champaran district, police said.

West Champaran Superintendent of Police Vinay Kumar said the smugglers, including a woman, were arrested from Karamva village when they were on their way to deliver the counterfeit notes in Nepal.

He said the fake notes had come from Bangladesh.

Vinay Kumar said the arrested woman smuggler was a resident of West Bengal's Malda district.
