'Life of Pi' connect in 'Lord Livingstone 7000 Kandi'


Chennai, Sep 14 (IANS): Varun Krishnan and Dileep Varma, who had previously worked in Oscar-winning film "Life of Pi" in the visual effects (VFX) department, are also behind the VFX work in the much-anticipated Malayalam film "Lord Livingstone 7000 Kandi".

Both of them were part of visual effects and Animation Company Rhythm & Hues studio when they worked in "Life of Pi".

According to the film's makers Global United Media, Varun and Dileep got excited to be part of "Lord Livingstone..." on hearing its story.

"They have decided to work on the film with a dedicated team to ensure VFX such as this hasn't been witnessed in Malayalam cinema before," read a statement.

Both Varun and Dileep are honored to be part of this project.

"Lord Livingstone 7000 Kandi" features an ensemble cast of Kunchako Boban, Nedumudu Venu, Bharath, Sudheer Karamana and Reenu Mathews among others.
