30 Bengal students hospitalised after eating mid-day meal


Kolkata, Sep 14 (IANS): Thirty children fell ill after having their mid-day meal at a state-run school in West Bengal's Burdwan district on Monday, an official said.

After complaining of giddiness and nausea, the students from classes 4 to 8 were taken to the Burdwan Medical College and Hospital.

"Thirty children were admitted today (Monday) after consuming mid-day meal. Many of them vomitted. They are all stable now," a hospital official said.
