Modi greets people on Hindi Diwas, Jewish new year


New Delhi, Sep 15 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday greeted the people on Hindi Diwas as well as on the occasion of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish new year.

"Best wishes to all of you on Hindi Diwas," the prime minister said.

In another statement, Modi said: "As the Jewish community celebrates Rosh Hashanah, I extend my best wishes and pray for a wonderful year ahead."
