Gerard Butler's movie release date pushed


Los Angeles, Sep 17 (IANS): Actor Gerard Butler's "London Has Fallen" will now release in March next year instead of on January 22.

Focus Features has moved the release date of the actioner to March 4, 2016, from January 22, reports variety.com.

The movie, a sequel to the 2013-release “Olympus Has Fallen", centres on an attack on London during the funeral of the British prime minister, who has died under mysterious circumstances. Butler will reprise his role as an ultra-resourceful US Secret Service agent.

The sequel is directed by Babak Najafi.
