Mumbai, Sep 20 (PTI): Actor Priyanka Chopra and singer-actor Monica Dogra have been won nominations at the Europe Music Awards 2015 under the best India act category, a sub category of worldwide act. Priyanka, 33, and 32-year-old Monica have been nominated by VH1 channel along with other three Indian artists including Indus Creed, Your Chin and The Ska Vengers.
The winner of the sub-category will then compete with the winners from regions across the globe to become one of the six worldwide act winners.
The final six winners will be announced on the Europe Music Awards Show, to be aired on VH1 on October 25, 2015.
Priyanka entered the global singing market with her first ever single In My City in 2012. It was followed by her second number, Exotic featuring American rapper Pitbull. The actor has also lent her voice for a music video of John Lennon's Imagine.
