Election Commission in our hands: BJP leader Joy Banerjee

Kolkata, Sep 20 (Agencies) : Actor-turned BJP leader Joy Banerjee on Sunday sparked controversy by saying that the Election Commission of India was under his party's control and the next Assembly election would be conducted under Army surveillance.

Addressing a party meet at Mayureswar, Banerjee alleged that the opposition TMC had defeated them in the last Lok Sabha election by using "unfair means".

"They had defeated us by cheating. But in the coming Assembly election it will not be possible as it will be held under Army vigilance and the Election Commission is in our hands," Banerjee claimed.

"Our central leaders have said that after winning the Bihar election, bulldozer will be run in West Bengal," he said.
Reacting to the allegation, Anubrata Mondal, TMC's Birbhum district president, said in Bolpur, "We don't know what kind of bulldozer they will run. The common people are with us. Led by Mamata Banerjee, our party will win all 11 Assembly seats in Birbhum."

    Appreciate his intention rather than dissecting his words.
    He wants the next WB election should be fair and for that it will be under army surveillance. One should recollect the violence, booth capturing etc during last assembly elections.

    IF BJP group wins Bihar election with clear majority then we have no alternative but to construe that Election commission is truly in the hands of BJP as said by Joy Banerji.
    Just two days back the same people pressurized ZEE TV group and forced them to publish a tailored Survey report stating NDA will win 140 votes and Nithish Kumar group will win less than 100 seats.

    If this statement made by Joy Banerjee (BJP leader) is true then it is nothing but a biggest tragedy of our democracy I always had a doubt and now the truth is slowly coming out. Let the EC make the a proper clarification. The next target is judiciary. Now I doubt even the results of Bihar elections and the internal survey of BJP is predicting a victory for BJP!!! God please save our motherland and the Indians.

    It is true,finally they omitted the truth.During last parliament election even the counting not started but they all full geared for celebration.Sweets are prepared all over INDIA with RSS color. From where they got such confidence. Fact on all key point key post they fixed rss members. Now in defense and media they completely captured.

    Supposedly E.C is working for BJP it is easy for voters to vote in large numbers for Communal, Corruption, Criminal, Comedy, Cow Governance etc., etc., mukth bharath.
