BLU launches its first smartphones in India


New Delhi, Sep 22 (IANS): Miami-headquartered affordable handset-maker BLU (Bold Like Us) on Tuesday entered the India market with the launch of two Windows-based smartphones - BLU Win HD LTE and BLU Win JR LTE - priced at Rs.7,999 and Rs.5,999 respectively.

The BLU Win HD LTE will come with a 5-inch HD display and a eight-megapixel rear camera. It will be powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and have dual-SIM facility.

The Win JR LTE will feature a 4.5-inch display, 1GB RAM and the same 410 Snapdragon processor. The rear five-megapixel camera will come with LED flash.

Both the smartphones will come with Windows 8.1 installed and can be upgraded to Windows 10 later for free. BLU sells in over 40 countries and has phones on Android and Windows operating systems.
