Lenovo launches new smartphone at Rs.25,499


New Delhi, Sep 22 (IANS): Chinese handset-maker Lenovo on Tuesday launched its new smartphone - Vibe Shot - which it claims will transform the photography experience of users, at a price of Rs.25,499.

The new smartphone will come with a five-inch Corning Gorilla Glass protected full HD display. The 16-megapixel rear camera will come with a tricolour flash system, optical image stabilisation and a infrared auto-focus.

"At Lenovo, our efforts are always in sync with the requirements of the Gen-next. The exquisite camera features of the Vibe Shot, the suave design of the device, the improved battery life and the premium feel - all at a mid-segment cost is for the end-user who wants the best of everything," said Lenovo India's director of smartphones Sudhin Mathur.

"With the launch of Vibe Shot, we are also looking at strengthening our offline presence across the country. The new phone will be available across 1,400 Lenovo exclusive stores and leading smartphone retail stores," he added.

The device will run latest Android Lollipop and support 4G LTE as well. It will be powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 1.7GHz octa-core processor and a 3GB RAM unit.

The phone will come with 32GB of internal memory that can be expanded to 128 GB.
