Air India extends its 'eSuperSaver' scheme

New Delhi, Sep 23 (IANS): To lure more passengers during the upcoming festive season, national passenger carrier Air India on Wednesday extended its "eSuperSaver" scheme up to March 31, 2016.

According to the airline, the scheme is applicable for travel in business class for single user only.

The "eSupersaver" scheme is available in two variants -- a four-coupon booklet value of Rs.44,000 for sectors up to 750 km and another four-coupon booklet valued at Rs.88,000 for all sectors beyond 750 km.

"The scheme offers exclusive benefits to business class travellers, especially to those booking tickets closer to the dates of travel, subject to availability of seats," the airline said.

Additionally, the scheme provides extra bonus to members of Air India’s frequent flyer programme.

The scheme also provides for free baggage allowance of up to 35 kg.
