Karkala, Jul.13: A pillion was killed on the spot in a motor cycle accident that occurred near Santhekatte market on Thursday July 12 night.
The deceased has been identified as Baccha Naika (42) son of Murga Naika, a resident of Arby-Muddhoor. He has died owing to the heavy blow that he received on his head when he fell from the motor cycle ridden by Balaram Vaidya,
Balram's motor cycle hit the tree that was fallen on the road which he tried to negotiate through the pot hole.
However, Balram survived with minor bruises. Hebri police SI, Ramachandra K Nayak has registered a case in this regard.
