Dunga calls up Oliveira for World Cup qualifiers


Rio de Janeiro, Sep 25 (IANS): Brazil coach Dunga has called up Ricardo Oliveira for World Cup qualifiers next month against Chile and Venezuela, a media report said on Friday.

Oliveira, 35, who scored 17 goals for Santos to top the Brazilian top league, replaced Roberto Firmino of Liverpool who is suffering a back injury, Xinhua reported.

Brazil takes on Chile on October 8 and plays home against Venezuela on October 13.
