Kuwait, Jul 14: A new executive committee of the Desert Pioneers Toastmasters, Club No.649467 Salmiya, was installed at the Rizayat Village board room Ras Salmiya.
The Induction ceremoney was conducted by ATM Gold Pradeep Vincent, Past Division Governor of Division I, T.M.I District 79.
Outgoing President CL Manohar Gajwani thanked each member of the out going Executive Committee & each member of the club, highlighted the achievements of the club. The Induction officer absolved the outgoing executive committee of its duties and then invited the newly elected executive committee to take oath of office.
The Induction of new Executive committee was followed by the oath of alliance by every member of the club. The new executive committee with CTM Norbert Mendonca as president with the other members of the committee by his side took control of the meeting.
CTM Norbert Mendonca in his president’s inaugural address outlined on the vision & mission of the club for the year 2007-2008 & revealed the club slogan for the year which is Go, Grow & Glow with toastmasters.
The Anchor of the evening ATM Silver Anil Lobo wonderfully anchored the day’s proceedings consisting of three manual speeches, evaluations & a short –crispy impromptu speech session.
The Visiting Division I Governor CTM Salem Abdul Hadi during his speech congratulated Desert Pioneers club for achieving President’s Distinguished Club Award from Toastmasters International.
The meeting was concluded with a brief business session during which the day’s winners were presented with the Winner’s Certificates & Ribbons by TM Anil Lobo & TM Norbert Mendonca.
