'UN always encourages Pakistan-India talks'

Islamabad, Sep 25 (IANS): United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has always encouraged Pakistan-India talks, the UN has said.

Ban has always encouraged leaders of Pakistan and India to meet and resolve their outstanding problems through dialogue, Radio Pakistan on Friday quoted UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric as saying.

The UN General Assembly session provides an occasion for leaders to talk to each other and sort out their issues, he said.
