Over 200 Boko Haram militants surrender in Nigeria


Abuja, Sep 25 (IANS): More than 200 Boko Haram militants on Friday surrendered to Nigerian troops in the state of Borno, a media report said.

Several Boko Haram fighters were killed in a military offensive that caused the other militants to lay down their arms, Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, spokesman of the Nigerian army, told Xinhua.
