Porsche head Mueller named as new CEO of Volkswagen

Wolfsburg (Germany), Sep 26 (IANS): Porsche head Matthias Mueller was named as the new CEO of Volkswagen, the company said on Friday.

Mueller replaced Martin Winterkorn, who resigned two days ago amid an escalating emissions cheating scandal, Xinhua reported.
