Two policemen killed in Egypt explosion


Cairo, Sep 26 (IANS): At least two Egyptian policemen were killed and 16 injured on Saturday in an explosion in Egypt's Sinai peninsula.

The attack occurred in Arish city when a police vehicle was hit by a roadside bomb, Xinhua news agency reported citing an interior ministry statement.

The Islamic State (IS) affiliate in Sinai has claimed responsibility for the incident.
