Kabul, Sep 27 (IANS): At least 67 militants have been killed in operations by Afghanistan armed forces within the past 24 hours, said the country's defence ministry on Sunday.
The ministry said 34 other militants were injured and 13 detained during the raids conducted by the army in 10 out of the country's 34 provinces, Xinhua news agency reported.
Seven army personnel were also killed over the same period, the statement added.
The Taliban militant group is yet to make comments.
