Mumbai, Sep 29: “Facing hardships becomes inevitable when we forget the Almighty. Fulfilling vows after granting of favours can be a business. Such businesses can amount to cheating the creator. We shouldnot be ungrateful to those who help us. The Almighty will not bless it," said Puthigeshree.
He spoke at a three day discourse held at Pejavar mutt in Prabhat Colony, Santacruz east on Monday September 28 night.
Pejavar mutt branch manager Ramadas Upadhyaya and Vani Ramadas couple presented fruits and flowers to Sugunendra Theertha and honoured him.
Gurumoorthi Bhat of Pejavar mutt, branch officer Prakash Acharya Ramakunja, Srihari Bhat and Niranjana Gopte, Girish Patil, Mukunda Baithamangalkar and Raghavendra Bhat were present.
Vishnutheertha Sali and Ramadas Upadhyaya conducted poojas, distributed Prasada and blessed the devotees.
Fulfilling vows to god after granting of favour is prevalent in our society on a very large scale and especially among South Kanara people. Swami's & scholars should strive to educate people to come out of such notions. Liked the article. Thanks.
