Dubai, Sep 29: The Organization uniting Omzoor parishioners in the UAE, 'Omzoorche Dive UAE' gathered at Hotel Bangalore Empire, Karama to celebrate this year's Monthi Fest 2015. The event was held on Friday, September25 at 11.30 am.
Children offered flowers to the statue of Monthi Mai to the choir singing of 'Sokkod Sangatam Mellyam' followed by 'Moryek Hogollsiyam'. Fr Robert Lasrado (St Mary's Church) blessed and led the prayers to begin the celebrations with the hymn 'Mori Mai by OD members.
The entertainment included various spot prizes, games, skits, dances, and songs performed by Melwyn/ Lancy Noronna/Wilson/Ajith /Robin/Glaniv/Sandra/ Lanisha and Delisha. Music was by Arun Carlo and Arun Menezes Dubai, dance performance by Lenita Noronna and skit by Lancy and Group. A tasty sumptuous vegetarian lunch was served with the specialties as 'Vorn' The food was prepared by Bangalore Empire staff.
President George Menezes welcomed the gathering. Arthur D'Souza proposed the vote of thanks. Godwin D'Souza compered the program.
