London, Oct 2 (IANS): Manchester United coach Louis van Gaal believes that arch-rivals Arsenal should be doing better in terms of results as they are "technically and tactically" the best team in the English Premier League.

"Arsenal are technically and tactically the best team in the league. Nevertheless, they haven't won so much, so you have to look for that improvement with that team," van Gaal was quoted as saying by the Daily Star.

The two sides lock horns at the Emirates Stadium here on Sunday with United hoping to strengthen their position atop the table. Arsenal would on the other hand look to bounce back from their shock Champions League defeat to Olympiakos on Tuesday.

Van Gaal is well aware of the threat that the Arsenal team poses and their ability to come back from difficult situations.

"We are happy but I think Arsenal can come back from a defeat," the United boss said.
"They have shown that a lot of times."
