LME base metals drop


London, Oct 3 (IANS): The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed lower on Friday.

The three-month unofficial copper price dropped $84.5 (1.65 percent) to $5,033 per tonne, Xinhua reported.

The three-month unofficial aluminium price lost $39 (2.46 percent) to $1,547 a tonne.

The three-month unofficial lead price lost $38 (2.29 percent) to $1,622 a tonne.

Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price lost $36 (2.11 percent) to $1,667 a tonne.

The three-month unofficial nickel price lost $402.5 (3.89 percent) to $9,935 a tonne.

The three-month unofficial tin price lost $10 (0.06 percent) to $15,455 a tonne.
