15 die in Nigeria bomb blasts


Abuja, Oct 3 (IANS): At least 15 people were killed and 39 were injured in bomb blasts in Nigeria's capital Abuja, an official said.

In Nyanya, a blast killed two people and injured 19 on Friday, Xinhua news agency quoted the official as saying on Saturday.

Another blast that took place in the Kuje Area left 13 people dead and 20 injured, the official said.

Ishaya Chonoko, Coordinator of National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Abuja operations, confirmed the figures.

Abuja Commissioner of Police Wilson Inalegwu also confirmed the toll.
