Ghaziabad, Oct 3 (IANS): Two people were burnt to death in an auto when an Alto car rammed into it. The auto turned turtle and the passengers could not be rescued as the three-wheeler caught fire, police said here on Saturday.
The incident occurred on National Highway 58 near Duhai village.
Police said the dead have not been identified since the bodies were 100 percent charred.
It was reported that the driver of the car lost control and hit the three-wheeler.
"We are trying to ascertain the identity of the victims so that their families can be contacted," said Superintendent of Police (Rural) RP Pandey.
