New Delhi, Oct 3 (IANS): A 25-year-old woman has been arrested along with her paramour for killing her husband to hide their illicit relationship, police said on Saturday.

The woman, whose name was withheld by police, was arrested along with her paramour Sachin on Friday during investigation of the case.

Police said the accused killed Manoj, 30, inside his house in Kapashera area in west Delhi and dumped his body near the roadside to make it seem like an accident.

According to Police, Sachin, a marketing supervisor in a private company, was in continuous touch with Manoj's wife.

"Manoj had caught his wife and Sachin in a compromising position. They then killed him after a brief fight over the issue," Deputy Commissioner of Police R.A. Sanjeev said.

Police said Sachin, a resident of Kannauj in Uttar Pradesh, was living at the same place as the deceased and his wife.

"Both developed intimacy and started liking each other. About four months back, the deceased shifted to a different house in the same locality but the affair between them continued," said the official.
