Dubai, Oct 4: KEL Dubai will host a talk on 'How to be Globe Shaker' by Deepak Rego, founder of World Ventures Marketing Consultants, at The India Club, Dubai on Saturday October 10 at 7 pm.
Deepak Rego will make a presentation on event marketing strategies and the effective use of glamour and sponsorships to make your brand shine on the world stage with insights on Dubai’s use of events to become a top global destination. About the Speaker
Deepak Rego has over 25 years of senior management experience in the media and entertainment industry focusing on events and sponsorships with leading organisations like Emaar, DUCTAC and UTV. He has worked with over 300 global brands like Emirates, ENBD Bank, Samsung, Omega, Mercedes, Coke, Etisalat, Du, HSBC, RTA, DEWA and Mubadala.
He was formerly the director – strategic partnerships at Emaar Retail where he led the growth of iconic theme parks in Dubai Mall, Downtown Dubai such as KidZania, Dubai Aquarium, Dubai Ice Rink, Reel Cinemas and Sega Republic.
He has played a major role in setting up “Dubai Community Theatre & Arts Centre” at Mall of the Emirates as director – sponsorships and events.
As general manager - Events at UTV and Think Tank Dubai, he has organized over 600 events with superstars from A R Rahman to Bryan Adams and from Amitabh Bachchan to Aamir Khan.
He passionately believes that Mangaluru can be converted into a global city through innovative marketing and strategic infrastructure ,building on its inherent strengths and natural beauty.
