Rare ancient tomb found in China

Beijing, Oct 4 (IANS): A rare turtle-shaped brick tomb dating back to about 800 years has been found in Shanxi province of China.

The tomb belonging to Jin Dynasty (1115-1234) was discovered in April by a resident of Qinxian county, Xinhua quoted Bai Shuzhang, an archaeologist, as saying on Sunday.

With a height of four metres, the tomb consists of an octagonal burial chamber and five small rooms.

Analyses suggest the tomb was shared by several generations of people.
