Storm leaves 120 Philippine fishermen missing


Manila, Oct 4 (IANS): Over 120 fishermen remained missing in the Philippines as tropical storm Mujigae moved away from the country, disaster reduction agencies reported on Sunday.

A report from Ilocos region said a total of 121 fishermen and 23 vessels were reported missing as of Saturday, Xinhua news agency reported. A total of 31 fishermen were rescued.

At least two people were killed and over 190,000 people affected by the storm.
