Cop's husband held for trying to sell FDA question papers


Tumakuru, Oct 5 (DHNS): Tilak Park police on Saturday arrested a man on charges of trying to sell question papers of First Division Assistant (FDA) exam conducted by the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC).

The police have named the arrested Nagaraj Yadav, a local journalist and husband of district Crime branch sub-inspector Parvatamma.

Based on the information that Yadav, who runs a coaching centre for competitive exams in the city, was selling FDA exam question paper for Rs 50,000. The police laid a trap and arrested the suspect when the latter was accepting money from a person.The police have recovered Rs 3 lakh in cash from the arrested, who has been sent to judicial custody.

New Extension Police Station SI Raju told Deccan Herald, “The police have arrested Nagaraj Yadav when he was taking money from a person with a promise to provide him the question paper later in the day. We have not recovered any question papers from the arrested. During the questioning, Yadav said that one Shivakumar, who had leaked Second PU exam question paper two years back, would bring the FDA question papers in the evening. The police have laid a trap to arrest Shivakumar. Yadav has been booked in a cheating case,” the SI said.

‘Papers not leaked’

Meanwhile, district Nodal Officer Timmaraju has issued clarification on Sunday stating that the question papers of FDA exam were not leaked in the district.

The district police had sought information pertaining to the arrest of a person on charge of selling FDA question papers on Saturday. “We have informed the district police that the question papers of FDA exam were not leaked and no malpractice was reported in the exam,” Timmaraju said.

    Good side Business.such things are Happening in India is not new .only not always they are caught.How many times we heard instead of students,some paid People appear for exams (medical)and write.No wonder ,later medicine is not so hard to pass.
