'Pakistan not involved in Kunduz attack in Afghanistan'

Islamabad, Oct 7 (IANS): Pakistan security agencies are not involved in the Taliban attack on Afghanistan's Kunduz city, Pakistan Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has said in a statement.

"Afghan allegations are baseless about Pakistan's involvement in the attack," the statement said on Tuesday.

ISPR said such allegations show an irresponsible attitude on Afghanistan's part, the News International reported.

Kunduz city was captured by Afghanistan Taliban during the fresh attacks on September 28.

Afghan authorities blame Pakistan for the Taliban insurgency.
