Mangalore: Journalists Demand Strict Action against Media Attackers

Mangalore, Jul 23: Dakshina Kannada district working journalists' union has submitted a memorandum to the SP demanding  action against the miscreants who attacked TV9 office, on Monday July 23 evening.

They urged that the culprits who attacked the media office and assaulted reporter Rajesh Rao on July 22 night should be arrested immediately.



The police should provide necessary security to the journalists, photo and video journalists, the association urged.

Ravindra Shetty, association president, submitted the memorandum to B S Lokesh Kumar, additional SP.

Ramakrishna S, association secretary, Jagannath Bala, vice-president, Anand Shetty vice president and other city journalists were present.

    Signs of times : Attacks in South Canara ? Let the Press and common man expose the true picture and expose the culprits irrespective of their political godfathers, cast, religion and area they come from. It is time we the common man analysed the situation, scan for wolves among the sheep in South Kanara and expose AS THE GOVERNMENT IS POSSIBLY HAND IN GLOVE WITH THE GOONS. And this is true for all the crimes that take place in the recent times. THE SIGNS OF TIMES FOR THINGS TO COME. VIOLENCE IN ALL FORMS AND TO ALL HUMANS AND ANIMALS IS DEPLORABLE.
