Mangalore, Jul 24: Suma Sourabha, a leading fortnightly will be organizing Yaksha Sangeetha Nada Vaibhava, variety entertainment programmes in Bharathanatyam, folk dance and felicitation of artiste Narasimha Shetty, in the Town Hall on Friday Jul 27at 4.30 pm. said M J Rao to the media persons, here on Monday Jul 23. 

The programme will be held in association with district department for Kannada and Culture.  Under Yakshagana Nada Vaibhava programme, a combination of Badaguthittu and Thenkuthittu style of yakshagana will be staged along with musical concert of violin and mridangam will be held. The tremendous response received from the viewers at the earlier innovative programmes in Udupi, has encouraged the organizers to hold the similar programme, here.

The cultural programme will be inaugurated by T D Pai, general manager Canara Bank, while presided over by Harikrishna Punaroor, former president of Kannada Sahitya Parishat.

M J Rao, managing director of Suma Sourabha, KV Krishnadas, deputy chief editor of Suma Sauraba, Shivananda Karkera, Boloor Chandrashekar, Rama Mohan Rai were also present at the press conference.
