10 days after Dadri, Modi breaks silence

PMspeak: 'Fight poverty, not each other'

Patna, Oct 9 (DHNS): Ten days after a man was lynched in Dadri for apparently consuming beef, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said Hindus and Muslims should be fighting poverty and not each other.

Modi’s message is an answer to the criticism he is facing for being silent despite the BJP and other Hindutva leaders attempting to polarise the situation in Dadri where one Mohammad Akhlaq was lynched.

The prime minister also strongly appealed to the people to ignore passion-rousing statements from politicians, including him, if he made any.

Winding up his first day’s campaigning at Nawada ahead of the phase one of Bihar Assembly polls on Monday, Modi requested the nation to follow President Pranab Mukherjee’s peace prescription he delivered at a launch of a book in Rashtrapati Bhavan on Wednesday.

“I have said it earlier also. Hindus should decide whether to fight Muslims or poverty. Muslims have to decide whether to fight Hindus or poverty....Both need to fight poverty together.... The country has to stay united,” said Modi.

As always, Modi appreciated Mukherjee, whom he also fondly addressed as “Dada”, for his political wisdom saying: “Yesterday (Wednesday), the President showed the path. Whatever the head of the country of 125 crore people has said, there can be no bigger message, no bigger direction and no bigger inspiration.”

“It is unity, communal harmony, brotherhood and peace that will take the nation forward,” Modi said, echoing Mukherjee’s lesson on secularism and the need to preserve the core values of pluralism and tolerance.

“Some politicians are making irresponsible statements for political interests... Such statements should end... Do not pay attention to such statements, even if Modi makes such statements,” the prime minister appealed. Earlier in the day, Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav hinted at the BJP’s hand in the incident. Describing it a “pre-planned conspiracy”, Mulayam said three people belonging to a particular party, which was also behind the 2013 Muzaffarnagar riots, were behind the Dadri killing.

Prior to answering his critics, Modi reined in BJP leaders–Union minister Mahesh Sharma, MLA Sangeet Som, and MPs Sakshi Maharaj and Yogi Adityanath–who are feasting on beef politics. The BJP leaders have also been asked not to venture around Dadri area to ensure that peace returns.

Since coming to power last May, Modi has been battling Hindutva motormouths who have been making controversial remarks, which began with the “ghar wapsi” program, at regular intervals ignoring his appeal that it would derail the government’s development agenda.

Not enough Modi, show positive actions from you by arresting those culprits and setting a peaceful atmosphere by eliminating anti democratic elements like RSS, SP etc. What your are shouting about so called 'Fight for Poverty' will automatically come if you take care of these people who are your own kith and kin. Just by your big usual fake election style Bhashans you are again proving you are close with those anti-social elements and encouraging them. BTW your speech is nowhere close to that dreadful event of lynching a innocent person by your own people.

Modi breaking silence was a news even for BBC. It tells how closely the world is following this Feku. It took not just 10 days but during the election Mulayam Singh has to blame on BJP for the lynching. That means breaking the silence is still for election purposes. Otherwise he would have not even opened his mouth at all. BTW, you appealed to the people to ignore passion-rousing statements from politicians, including him, if he made any. Well, you and your friends like Daku promised 15 lacks, acche din and employment, Dollar is equal to Rupee and so on.. that means we have to ignore/forget all those promises too.. How unfortunate we as Indians to have this Feku as our PM!! What bhakths sitting in places like Shirva and Singapore say about this?

But the ordinary people who does not watch TV news or read daily news paper will never know what FEKU's hidden agenda. Moreover, if Dada did not make this statement, FEKU would never have opened his mouth. In such scenario he has to say something like this.
Lastly final word to FEKU: Dear FEKU you can not take the people for a ride for second time.

In two trips to China after becoming PM,he almost begged them to send the Chinese department of Health to visit Gujarath and approve the Beef Slaughter Houses in the state.
Media never highlight these points just to please the majority.

Billions of worth beef is exported to Vietnam and then smuggled to China.
China cannot stom smuggling because it cannot live without beef.
They but at 2 dollars per Kg and if they approve the slaughter houses then China has to import direct paying USD 3 per Kg.
Both China and India PM's knows the fact.
Most of the Beef export is done from Gujarat.

This is exactly the reason why he fits the name - FEKU.

    1) Did he condemn his party members killing innocent person, whose family member serves for Indian Defense - NO.
    2) Did he say there is no place for such people in his party - NO.
    3) Did he say anything against people spreading rumors and hatred - NO.
    4) Does he have guts to silence his own party leaders instigating such violence - NO.

So, what is the big deal about it?
All he says is people should not fight each other and paid national media celebrates that statement.
Indeed they have a reason to celebrate, because of Feku spends crores everyday on advertisements.

Beef is a well crafted strategy and there will be dividents for BJP politically. The crooked mind of Amit Shah works beautifully in putting strategy and executable plan in place. He is directly involved in Bihar elections this time, as such kind of strategy nobody else can do even in BJP. Hope that people understand the hidden motives of BJP or else time is not very far, when there will be people scared of their own neighbours, whether hindu, muslim, christian or a sikh.

PM has such good oratory, he definitely could have come out with similar passionate speech, condemning the incident. To say 'follow what the president said', kind of says, I do not want to say anything, but try to follow what he said.

But with optimism, I am kind of consoled. Else, he could have still said, the president was elected during UPA, so even he is no good.
