'Masterpieces' to sell artworks of Indian masters

New Delhi, Oct 9 (IANS): To woo tech-savvy art lovers, Aakriti Art Gallery has come up with its new online sale starting Saturday, displaying rare masterworks of renowned Indian artists, some also on an offer.

Titled 'Masterpieces', the sale would showcase some of the rare artworks of masters like Amrita Shergil, S.H. Raza, M.F. Husain, Jamini Roy, F.N. Souza, among others.

A special attraction of the sale would be Raza's "Bindu", priced at Rs. 85 lakhs.

Also on offer will be the works of Nandalal Bose, Gopal Ghosh, Meera Mukherjee, Debiprasad Roy Chowdhury, Indra Dugar, Jehangir Sabawala, among others.
