Sonia condoles Ravindra Jain's death

New Delhi, Oct 10 (IANS): Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Friday condoled the passing away of noted lyricist and music composer Ravindra Jain.

In her condolence message, Gandhi described Jain as a musician par excellence and said the void created by his demise in the popular as well as classical music genre will be hard to fill.

Jain died in Mumbai on Friday evening following a prolonged illness.
