China blacklists over three mn firms for lack of transparency


Beijing, Oct 10 (IANS): China has included 3.14 million enterprises in a list of firms which have failed to fulfil their responsibilities on information publicity, an official said.

The list was placed on record in a national enterprise credit information publicity system, Xinhua quoted Liu Yuting, the deputy head of industry and commerce, as saying on Friday.

The system contains enterprises' information including registration, chattel mortgage, pledge of equities and administrative penalties, Liu said.
