Sullia, Jul 25: Shashikumar (17), who has been accused of raping a 7-year-old girl has been remanded to judicial custody by the juvenile Court here on Monday July 23.

Shashikumar (17), son of Ramalingam, a resident of Kootelu Tamil colony in the jurisdiction of Amarapadnoor, has been awarded with judicial custody.  

He had absconded after sexually harassing the minor girl in a nearby plantation. He was arrested from his relative’s house in Narkod a day later.  He was presented in Juvenile court where he was awarded judicial custody.
