South Africa opts to bat against India in first ODI


Kanpur, Oct 11 (IANS): South Africa captain A.B. de Villiers won the toss and opted to bat in the first of the five-match One-Day International (ODI) series at the Green Park stadium here on Sunday.

The teams:

India: Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, Suresh Raina, Mahandra Singh Dhoni (captain), Stuart Binny, Ravichandran Ashwin, Amit Mishra, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Umesh Yadav
