Mobike Rider Injured:

One Vikas aged 23 years, a resident of Sankolige Talapady, Mangalore taluk was earlier seriously injured by a scooter in a road traffic accident here on July 24 on NH17 at Panambur  and admitted to a  hospital. In this connection a case has already been registered in Panambur Police Station.

Vikas has however been declared dead at 6.55 pm by the hospital authorities while under treatment on July 25. Now the case has been registered as that of fatal road accident at the Panambur police station.

Fatal Road Accident near Beltangady:

Another case of fatal road accident has also been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On July 24 at  around 1. 20 pm at Kalle Ujire village, Belthangady taluk one Mallikarjuna aged 22 years a driver of Swaraj Mazda bearing reg. no. KA-19-B-6865 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a new motorcycle.

Due to the impact motorcycle rider Mohammad Siddhique and pillion rider Akbar Ali sustained grievous injuries. They were immediately rushed to and admitted to Mangala Nursing Home at Mangalore, unfortunately one Mohammad Siddhique succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on the same day itself at 3.30 pm.
