Beijing, Oct 12 (IANS): A former middle school teacher was charged for running a major online methamphetamine ring that supplied to areas across China, the media reported on Monday.
The 35-year-old suspect, surnamed Lu, was taken into custody after police on September 28 raided a rented house in Nanning city which served as a meth lab, People's Daily reported.
Nanning and Hechi police officers confiscated 31.5 kg of methamphetamines and an additional 185 kg in drug manufacturing materials.
Officers said they were tipped off by three different dealers arrested in March after they were spotted selling the drug on QQ, a messaging platform.
