New Delhi, Oct 13 (IANS): Chinese electronics giant Letv is expected to soon announce a new smartphone with a curved display and 6GB RAM, a source said on Tuesday.
"Letv will soon announce a next generation smartphone to outperform other devices available in same price range," the source told IANS.
The phone is expected to feature a curved screen with maximum screen display and a frameless look along with a unique 360-degree rotating camera.
It is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm processor, a 6GB RAM and internal memory of 32GB.
The device will serve as a universal remote that can control many home appliances, like TV, air-conditioner and refrigerators.
Earlier, informed sources told IANS that the company is evaluating plans to set up an electric vehicle manufacturing unit to tap into the Digital India opportunity through which the Indian government is on a mission to get five to seven million electric cars on the roads by 2020.
The company is also looking to launch several smart devices, including smartphones, tablets and TVs.
