Delhi announces revision of workers' minimum wages


New Delhi, Oct 14 (IANS): Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday said the state cabinet has decided to revise the minimum wage of construction workers in the capital.

"Delhi cabinet decides to revise minimum wages in Delhi. (Head of Departments) HODs must ensure workers get minimum wages. Contractors who don't pay minimum wages will be blacklisted," Kejriwal tweeted.

The Aam Aadmi Party government on Tuesday announced a slew of welfare measures for construction workers, including hostels and health clinics.
