Puttur, Oct 15: The car in which Hassan district additional superintendent of police (ASP), Shobha Rani, was travelling got involved with an accident at Addahole in Shiradi village in the taluk on Wednesday October 14 evening. In this accident, a motor bike rider was injured.
The car was moving towards Hassan from the direction of Mangaluru, whereas the motor bike was coming from the direction of Hassan. Motor bike rider, Ramachandra (28) from Kasargod, was injured in his head in this accident.
Ramachandra was admitted into the government hospital here for treatment. The 108 ambulance stationed at Kokkada was summoned immediately to transport the injured to the town. A case about the incident was registered in the traffic police station here.
