Narrow escape for Lalu Yadav as ceiling fan falls on him

Motihari (Bihar), Oct 16 (Agencies): Rashtriya Janata Dal supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav had a close escape when a ceiling fan fell close to him during a rally here.

Lalu was sitting on a stage during a rally here when the fan came off its hinges and plummeted. It brushed against the leader's hand before crashing on the stage platform. Lalu had reportedly complained about the rickety condition of the fan before the rally had begun.

The leader though did not suffer any injury but was somewhat shaken after the incident. He did manage to complete addressing the huge crowd gathered here.
